Uncle Lo Limited · Not-for-profit
Uncle Lo exists so that no one in Penrith and Western Sydney has to face a morning or an afternoon hungry. We start with breakfast and lunch, served with no questions asked — because a full plate should never depend on how much you can pay.
Uncle Lo is currently getting our food program off the ground — thank you for being here at the beginning.
Why we started
"Feed the person in front of you first. Everything else can wait."
Uncle Lo Limited is a registered not-for-profit organisation, trading as Uncle Lo. Our mission is simple: provide breakfast and lunch to individuals across Penrith and Western Sydney who are doing it tough — no referrals, no forms, no judgement.
We're just getting started, and we're building this the right way: one reliable meal service, done well, before we take on anything more. Once our food program is steady on its feet, we plan to grow into other kinds of support our community has told us it needs.
Our first program
This is where we're starting, and where we're putting all our energy right now.
A warm start to the day — served in our community space, details on days and times to be confirmed as we launch.
A proper midday meal for anyone who walks through the door. Same welcome, every time.
Full schedule and location details will be posted here as we open our doors. Want to be one of the first to know? Get in touch.
Looking ahead
We're building in stages, so we can do each thing properly before adding the next.
Breakfast and lunch for anyone in the community who needs it. This is where all our resources are focused today.
Once our food program is established, we want to explore offering access to psychologists, counselling, and other mental health services for the people we serve.
This isn't available yet — we're researching what our community needs and what we'd need to do it responsibly and well.
Get involved
Whatever you can offer — time, a donation, or just spreading the word — it moves us closer to opening our doors.
Every dollar goes toward ingredients, equipment, and getting our first meal service open. Donation details coming as we finalise our accounts.
Donate nowCooking, serving, setup, or admin — we'll need hands of every kind once the doors open. Tell us what you're good at.
